If you own a UK company with an overseas business, you may need to employ overseas workers. If your overseas business is connected to the UK business, the employee could qualify for a Global Business Mobility Worker visa.
When it comes to applying for a work visa, we understand it can seem daunting. The process can overwhelm both the individual and the company wanting to sponsor them. Our Immigration Lawyers work closely with you to make sure your application has the best chance of success.
The Global Business Mobility: Senior or Specialist Worker (“GBMSS”) route is for overseas workers with temporary work assignments in the UK. This has replaced the previous ‘Intra-Company Transfer’ route. They must be assigned to a UK business linked to their employer overseas to come under this visa category.
This route also allows dependents, such as a spouse and/or children, to join the main applicant in the UK. Unlike the Skilled Worker route, this visa category doesn’t lead to settlement in the UK.
