How long does it take to be granted a premises licence?

Once an application is lodged with the relevant council, there is a 28-day consultation period and if there are no objections from any interested parties, the premises licence will be granted by delegated authority. If there are any objections to your application, we’ll negotiate with objectors and try to persuade them to withdraw, failing which, a licensing committee hearing will be fixed, usually within two months.
