Biography
I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2012 and worked in a wide variety of areas, including varying major surgeries, acute medicine, elderly care, and musculoskeletal injuries.
The majority of my experience though was working in intensive care environments. This was in both public and private sectors. I was also the head of a team in a private hospital intensive care and another in a private neuro-rehabilitation facility. This gave me extensive insight into the full pathway of rehabilitation, from helping people when they were most vulnerable, to working to getting them back home and functionally independent.
I am a big believer in improving quality of life through rehabilitation, not just maintaining function. I came to Irwin Mitchell to have a better reach across a client's entire quality of life, not just their physical well-being.

What do you do away from the office?
My young daughter currently takes up a lot of my time, but I like to be involved in sports wherever I can. Having been a ski racer in my teens, played rugby at university and participated in varying social sports since, I am always keen to get involved in whatever I can.
