Biography
I lead the specialist professional groups which provide services to Irwin Mitchell's clients and internal legal teams, which include our legal costs and funding teams, our litigation support services, knowledge management and professional development lawyers, advocacy and client support teams.
In my legal career, I have worked on behalf of clients with serious injuries since qualifying as a solicitor specialising particularly in advising clients about traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple trauma and amputation. I led our Serious Injury division from 2013 to 2020 and our national Complex Personal Injury Division from 2020 to 2024.
I am passionate about ensuring that clients are given the opportunity to access appropriate rehabilitation and support to overcome as best as possible the impact of a serious injury, and for partners and family to get the help that they need to understand what is going on and assist in the process.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Above all, I enjoy interacting with teams and individuals from varying backgrounds, and our partners and clients in the wider community. My role gives me the opportunity to see across our many different legal teams across the business.
